Birthday Parties

Looking for a “Creative” birthday party idea? Purple Hippo Art Studio offers Art Themed Birthday Parties for ages 3 and older. Let us host your party, and we will provide the invitations, an art instructor, art materials, and the entertainment. Best of all, the mess is ours to clean up!

Our studio is available for "Grown-up" parties too. Call for details.

Choose from one of our artistically themed parties, or we can customize a theme to best suit your Art Party needs. Here is a sample of some of our great ideas!

Party with the Masters: Guests learn about a famous artist and recreate one of their masterpiece paintings. This party is custom designed for gender and age appropriateness. Ages 4 – up		Rumble in the Jungle: Welcome to the Jungle!!! During this Jungle Adventure, the explorers will design Safari Hats and cool Binoculars! Inspired by the book Rumble in the Jungle, this party is sure to bring out your inner "wild animal"!! Ages 4 – up
Creative "CLIP" Palette: This is a fun and functional piece to decorate with paint and simple collage materials. The clips hold notes, photos, drawings, and your Purple Hippo Birthday Party invitation! Ages 4 - up		My Favorite Things: Create a canvas about yourself using your name and your “favorite things” as the theme. A gorgeous piece of art for a bedroom door or wall. Involves painting and collage. Ages 7 - up
Painted Pottery : Choose a fun Ready to paint Pottery piece for you and your friends to glaze! This project must stay at the studio to be fired before going home. Base price of $250 for up to 10 kids, $25 for each additional child. Need to pick out pottery pieces 2 weeks prior to party date. Pieces will be fired and ready to be picked up one week after. Call us for details! Ages 5 - up		Seeing Stars Pajama Party: Come to this party in your PJ's and we will create a beautiful version of Vincent Van Gogh's “Starry Night” painting using paint and glow-in-the-dark paper for the stars and moon. This masterpiece will bring the night sky right into your bedroom! Ages 7 – up

Parties last for 1 and 1/2 Hours.
Cost is $250 for up to 10 guests, $15/ additional child.
A $100 Non-Refundable Deposit Required.
Invitations, envelopes, & purple paper goods Included!
Party times on Saturday & Sunday are 10:30-12:00, 1:00-2:30, & 3:30-5:00.
Open Studio is not available for guests during Sunday morning party time, 10:30-12:00.

-Small Purple Hippo Cake & Drinks: $60 -feeds 15-17 people
-Large Purple Hippo Cake & Drinks: $80 -feeds 35-38 people
-Drinks: $20 (juice boxes, bottled water)*price varies in parties of 20+

Our Cake Flavors are Yellow, White and Chocolate. They are beautiful & delicous!!!
(yellow has a hint of lemon & white has a hint of almond). Classic White Frosting.
